POL 105-102 - American National Politics and Government

Introduction to American political theory, and the concept of federalism. This course is designed to teach students about the fundamental structures of the United States including how conflict is institutionalized within the system. Students will be introduced to the national political process, and the political environment in which they operate. This course also examines current issues that impact the future of the government and the people it serves, as well as providing a deep understanding and appreciation of elections, special interest groups, civil rights and liberties, and public policy.
